Sending a text to a specific contact ID allows you to deliver a text message to a person not originally present in your campaign.
What you need to do:
- Get the following information on the specific contact.
- Contact Id
- Phone number
- Set up the HTTP post with the acquired information
Head to the specific contact's contact record to get their ID, Phone1 and Country.
In your Campaign builder, set up a text campaign. If you don't know how to set up a text campaign, head to How to send a text message via Campaign Builder.
Instead of using the merge button to populate the corresponding value pair, key in the acquired information from the contact record on their corresponding value pair fields.
Click the draft to ready button and publish your campaign.
Once everything is set up correctly, the specific contact ID will also receive a text message.
